On Sunday 8th July, took place in Bettola, in the province of Piacenza, the seventh round of the Assoluti d'Italia di Enduro and our rider Steve Holcombe climbed the highest step of the podium in the Absolute and in the Foreign Class.

The event of the highest Italian Championship took place in a single day of competition and Steve Holcombe was the absolute protagonist.

The English rider fought for all day of competition recording incredible times in the Enduro Test and in the Extreme Test. After a hard day until the last special test, Steve Holcombe won the Absolute by spacing less than two seconds the second classified and consecrating his leader role both in the Foreigners class and in the prestigious Absolute.

Christophe Charlier was absent due to the bad fall of Enduro Word Championship Italian race at Arco di Trento.

Excellent performance also for the riders of the Beta Boano Team with Matteo Cavallo who has conquered another victory in the Junior class and is increasingly the undisputed leader. The Italian rider was 5° in the Absolute while his mate Brad Freeman was 4°.

The next round of the Assoluti d'Italia di Enduro is scheduled for the weekend of 29 and 30 September in San Giovanni Bianco in the province of Bergamo.

“I am satisfied with my performance, another victory in the Absolute and in the Foreigners class. The times recorded in the Enduro Test and nell'Estrema were excellent while in the Cross Test I was not able to express myself at my best”.
